Finance Assistant Graduate Permanent Great career prospects Up to £28K Plus benefits Depending on Experience Whiteley, Fareham Our client is a discretionary investment management company providing investment management services and financial planning solutions to private clients. They are a highly successful, privately owned, LLP, with 4 offices in the UK, a Channel Islands regulated subsidiary and one on-shore and two off-shore fund entities. They have a fast growing, dynamic and challenging culture but also one where everyone feels part of the team and where they can have fun. Due to ongoing company growth, our client is looking for a Finance Graduate to join their Solent Office in Whiteley. The successful Finance Graduate will either be a recent accountancy or finance graduate, or you may also have a year’s experience gained in a corporate environment and be interested in continuing your studies (ACCA or CIMA). The role will be helping our client transform the finance function into a technology-led operation that is at the forefront of the digital data revolution. We are looking for graduates with enthusiasm, curiosity, personal drive and an ability to communicate clearly at all levels. The role will report to the Head of Finance and the key areas of responsibility are as follows: Processing invoices circa 200 Completing bank reconciliations for 6 entities Processing employee expenses Reconciling income (150 statements/ month on Curo CRM system) Raising sales invoices, processing payments Reconciling Company’s credit cards, Looking after/ taking ownership of the Finance mailbox Currently using Sage but switching to Dynamics BC from 1st June The successful candidate will have / be: A general interest in the investment industry A Graduate Attention to detail and a real focus on accuracy A bright team player with excellent numeracy skills Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and flexibility in order to cope with ever-changing demands of the role Desire to work hard and succeed in a busy environment Strong team player Knowledge in excel, Sage and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central an advantage Remuneration This fantastic new Finance Graduate opportunity is offered with a competitive salary of up to £28K depending on experience, generous holiday allowance and benefits (pension, income protection and group life.)
