Lead JavaScript Developer Up to £80,000 (DOE) Excellent Benefits Edinburgh Permanent, Full Time This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading Financial Services company in Edinburgh and help successfully deliver the next generation of banking products and services What will you be doing? Although this is a Lead role, you will still be very much hands on and will be responsible for l eading the design and engineering of complex banking products and services that exploit public cloud infrastructure You will manage a small team of software engineers E ngage with different groups of stakeholders across the business to ensure the products and services designed are secure, scalable, performant, resilient, optimised and compliant Identifying and implementing new engineering standards and patterns including the creation of code artefacts that support broad re-use across software engineering teams Capturing and sharing domain knowledge and experience across the software engineering team So, what experience are we looking for? Credible experience in a Senior/Lead role Strong software engineering background using JavaScript frameworks Enthusiasm and passion for using modern scalable Java/JavaScript solutions on public cloud platforms Ability to breakdown and solve complex technical problems across multiple technology domains Server-side JavaScript development using Node.js, ideally with experience of enterprise deployment Component development using libraries such as React, AngularJS or Ember Solid understanding and experience of agile working practices and automated testing methodologies including test driven development If you are currently working and a Senior/Lead software engineer and have solid experience delivering innovate software products/services in a cloud native environment, I would love to hear from you Sound like you?
