Infrastructure Lead

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Lead or 3rd Line Support Engineer to take a lead and be subject matter expert on current and future server technology for our manufacturing client in Attleborough. You will be the final point of escalation and lead for all server and networking solutions, assisting the Head of IT in driving the business' technology platform forwards through a period of transformational change in the industry. Challenging the status quo will be normal for you, as you lead in the management of 3rd parties and internal stakeholders whilst making technology improvements. The plan is to move towards an autonomously and self healing network, with the aim of minimised disruption to production and corporate IT systems. We are looking for some of the below desirable skills: VMware including Greenfield installs Windows Server experience 2012-2019 with exceptional knowledge of 2016/2019 PowerShell and Powershell DSC Ansible and Ansible Tower API Cisco CCNA ideally, with new project experience Fortinet FortiGate SDWAN and security fabric Azure automation and system management Experience managing and working within highly available networks or within FMCG manufacturing. There are a number of challenging infrastructure projects ahead, which you will be heavily involved in, from architecture and design through to delivery, so it is an exciting time to join the business.
