Overview
What’s the role? An excellent opportunity has arisen within Eddie Stobart to provide analytical support within the central depot in Appleton. You will manage and produce detailed reports, allowing you to identify and track data and trends, by working with Managers to formulate continuous improvement plans; ensuring correct detail is supplied at all times. What will I be responsible for? Producing weekly reports and statistics detailing orders, returns and costs per Business Unit Produce weekly and monthly customer reports in order to create periodic strategic commercial reviews Developing a costing model to manage costs and report on on-going performance against depot budgets Creating summary reports at the close of each financial period, as required by the Account Manager Analysing data, providing scheduled and ad-hoc reports to relevant management teams when necessary Submitting monthly absence forms to the relevant management team and their direct reports Providing general administrative support to all departments of the business What kind of person are you looking for? You will have excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using the higher level features would be advantageous.You must be a confident communicator, both written and verbally. Some administration experience would be an advantage but is not essential. As the successful candidate you should demonstrate your ability to produce complex reports dealing with a high volume of information from a variety of sources.Experience in a similar/related role would be advantageous.
