Overview

Position: Home Manager Location: Stockport Salary: up to £45k Full Time Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to work within a Nursing home situated in Stockport. The home is a medium sized property which provides care to elderly residents, some of whom might be living age-related conditions and Dementia. As Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the home. Your key responsibilities will centre on promoting a caring environment, supervising, monitoring and evaluating care delivery to residents, and ensuring legal requirements are met. Main Duties for the Care Manager: • To manage the day to day running of the home, focusing on the standards and quality of care, recruitment and training issues, communication with the team, the premises of the Care Home and financial matters. • Budget management • Supervising employees of the home • Provide effective leadership • Take responsibility for all statutory and legal requirements in a health and social care setting • Take charge of the marketing, promotion and sales aspect of the home, including creating a marketing strategy for the home • Handle prospective/potential residents for the home, such as; guided tours, negotiating fees, welcoming new residents, and completing relevant paperwork pertaining to this Skills/ Qualifications: • At least 2 years` experience working in a similar care environment • At least 2 years` supervisory management experience • NVQ Level 4 in care OR valid NMC PIN • Strong understanding of CQC legislation & Health and Social Care act • Excellent interpersonal skills If this opportunity interests you, and you believe that you`ve got what it takes to be a successful candidate, I would be more than happy to arrange a conversation with you to discuss this further.
