Brand New RoleBrand New RoleBrand New Role PLC / SCADA System Engineer – West Midlands - £37-42k company car rota uplift Samuel Frank Associates is now recruiting for a PLC / SCADA System Engineer to join a market leading, large and stable organisation in the West Midlands. PLC / SCADA System Engineers with experience of any of the major PLC vendors will be considered (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron). You don’t need to have experience of all of them This opportunity could suit a PLC /SCADA System Engineer who is looking for a mainly office based role with occasional trips to customer site (rather than working for an integrator who may expect you to be away 30-50% of your time). The company has great facilities too with a modern, professional office and a personable Lead Engineer to work for who can help guide you when needed Key aspects of the PLC / SCADA System Engineer role include; · Responsibility for the design, programming and successful delivery of solutions across a wide range of industrial control systems. · Responsible for PLC and SCADA system design, software development, documentation and overall quality assurance. · Experience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi equipment would be advantageous but experience with any of the major vendors will be considered. · The successful PLC / SCADA System Engineer will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to deal effectively and efficiently with customers from all areas of the business. · You will be required to occasionally travel throughout the West Midlands, therefore a driving licence is essential as a car is provided. Participation in an out-of-hours standby rota will be required for which additional payment will be made. The client’s offices are commutable from most of the West Midlands including places such as Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Cannock, Sutton Coldfield, Penkridge and West Bromwich.
