Overview
Our client is an established electrical contractor based in The Thames Valley. They undertake commercial and industrial electrical projects in London and the South East. One of their clients is a major home furnishings retailer with large premises across London. As part of their extended works, our client is now involved in an extensive and ongoing electrical small works programme. As a consequence, they are seeking a gold card electrician to work in a team of two, across six branches undertaking various planned electrical small works and upgrades. This would typically involve working on 3-4 sites in a week. The role would suit a personable and flexible electrician within striking distance of the whole of Greater London from Tottenham to Croydon. Paired with another experienced electrician it will involve working standard weekday hours with weekend and night work always a possibility (at enhanced rates). The electrical projects our client undertake are always planned and well organised but need to be delivered by flexible electricians. It would suit an electrician seeking a varied role with flexible working times. This is not like site work. It is varied and interesting electrical small works installation in occupied premises that are clean and warm. There are also great on-site facilities that include a heavily subsidised canteen for the main client’s staff and on-site contractors.
