Your new company This technology focussed organisation has established itself as a real leader in their field. They have continually grown their Software Engineering function and are in a position to support a new Front End specialist to bolster the team. You'll be based out of their Head Office near Farnham which is commutable from most parts of Surrey, but you will require your own transport. Your new role You'll be working on a meaningful set of projects which genuinely influence thousands of people every day. The business is looking to modernise their product suite, so you'll be hands-on from an early stage, contributing to this next iteration. You will be working with a highly functional team that follow a set of design patterns that have kept them ahead of competition for decades. Developers are empowered to work across the entire UI layer which can cover the heavier JavaScript work or the UX and creative elements. It's important to be flexible and capable of moving across different technical areas. The company is forward thinking and want to provide a progression plan from an early point for all hires. It is also a multi-functional team so you will be able to learn other languages and technologies by sitting alongside other talented developers. What you'll need to succeed It is essential that you have excellent knowledge of core front end technologies HTML/CSS/JavaScript coupled with a grasp of how this links to UX / design work. Crucially this is an opportunity of growth and we'd be looking for someone with experience using modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, Knockout.js, Vue.js. You should have worked with these or another relevant framework as a minimum on personal projects. Bonus skills would be Bootstrap Rest API's, Version Control/GIT. There will be a technical task as part of the assessment process using TestDome, so you should be comfortable completing this if applying.
