Applications Engineer £44,000 - £45,000 Home based ideally near Milton Keynes An rare opportunity to join a fast growing, marketing leading manufacturer, we are now recruiting an experienced Applications Engineer to join the team covering all area’s of pre sales and post The role:- Attending client sites across the UK, Ireland and Europe to train customers how to set and operate our equipment. Use of Fanuc or Mitsubishi and working knowledge of CAM software Advising customers on ways to optimise their programs to minimise cycle time and help with new programming techniques. Tooling and machine setting advice Software assistance – helping you get the most from any supporting software packages During the pre-sales period study component drawings and provide cycle time analysis. Attending client sites and conducting On-machine training Essential Skills required:- Ability to fully program/plan/prepare tooling lists for multi spindle/multi axis lathes Experience of turning machines with milling capability and with power tools and subspindles Experience of interpreting complex engineering drawings and working to exacting tolerances Experience of ISO Controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi) Knowledge of CAM software Able to problem solve Willingness to often work away from home Monday to Friday and ability to travel UK wide and occasionally to Europe Experience of time studies and test cuts Package Circa £44-45k package Car and tools Pension 22 days holiday 8 days statutory Death in Service Income Protection Home Based This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89755564
