Overview

This role needs strong technical credentials on open source technology like Java/ j2ee, maven, wildfly and workflow tools etc. The candidates in this role is expected to wear multiple hats like developer for issues originating from production, designer/ architect for new features and future enhancements, analyst for issues raised by system end users. Role demands a multi-faceted person, who has played similar role successfully for other assignments, to fulfil the responsibilities. It is expected that the candidate will assist in quality assurance & control to ensure that all development deliverable are of an acceptable quality to meet business requirements, participate in the quality review process for code produced, deal with defects raised by testers in order to complete the delivery cycle and resolve related problems. The candidate will ensure the effective operation of the Support Service through the provision of timely and effective solutions as part of software project delivery activities. He/she will be expected also to carry out thorough investigation of reported issues through the testing and interrogation of the applications, facilitating software investigation, solution creation and call resolution within required and agreed service levels. The candidate is required to work from UK location to address the issues on priority and possible in same time zone to mitigate the business impacts. Qualification BTech or higher professional qualification in Computer Science Key Skills- Previous experience of web & payment processing application support Application Development Experience in Software Development environment Data manipulation (Loading, merging, cleansing) and strong analytical skills Excellent Customer Service skills Good oral and written communication Assisting in problem solving and application knowledge Undertake system setup and configuration tasks Sound skills on writing code, analysing bugs and creating design for new features Participate in software release activities Essential working experience: - Full stack development experience (java/ j2ee, wildfly/ Jboss, JBPM/ Activiti, Hibernate, Java script, MySQL, JSF, Spring) web applications. Experience of structured testing and quality assurance approaches (e.g. Test-Driven Development) Experience of working on restful services and API integration · Work in an Agile environment using Continuous Delivery tools and techniques.
