Overview
Test & Investigation Engineer With days spent anywhere from a nuclear power station to a military aircraft carrier, this role is extremely varied and will involve working closely with a range of customers to run investigations and take measurements on equipment in the field, with the aim of developing remedial schemes to combat any problems. Working across the full lifecycle of field trials, you will work to support the initial bids & proposals for work before going out on-site to use a range of sensors and instrumentations to take measurements and diagnose issues with equipment. This role will be extremely practical and will require you to get involved in a range of activities which could involve climbing and lifting medium-heavy loads. You’ll need to have a strong fundamental engineering knowledge with a slight mechanical bias as well as the ability to interact with customers and engineers at all levels.
