Marketing Insight Analyst Up to £26,000 York Outskirts A well-established, successful business based on the outskirts of York are looking for a Market Insight Analyst to join the business and play a key role in the dynamic marketing team. Having grown year on year, the business have ambitious plans for the future and this is an exciting time to join. Commutable from York, Harrogate, Leeds and Thirsk, you will need your own transport for this role. YOUR NEW JOB Reporting to the Marketing Manager, producing statistics, useful insight and essential data affecting the whole company, effecting change and working closely with marketing team, this is a great role; an excellent opportunity to work with customer trends and sales and marketing data and bring data to life in a meaningful way. - Undertake market research and analysis of products - Collate data on consumers, competitors and the overall marketplace - Investigate market trends using SWOT analysis - Make recommendations based on insight - Translate data into actionable reports and notifications - Review reporting systems and formats and make recommendations - Undertake annual product audits - Maintain product listings - Monitoring performance of products and their individual components - Produce a monthly competitor analysis report Any experience using SQL, SAS, SPSS or similar data analysis packages would be advantageous.
