Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Controls and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to work closely with Project Support, Facilities and Project Engineers in delivering controls and instrumentation engineering on complex automotive electric vehicle, hybrid, and combustion engine powertrain projects. The role holder will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining mechanical/ electrical systems to enable them to deliver industry leading services across two powertrain test facilities in Milton Keynes that are on time, on budget and exceed customer expectations. The Controls and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer will be based in Milton Keynes, a city at the forefront of electric vehicle infrastructure development, situated in the heart of the Oxford-Cambridge technology corridor and with great road and rail access between London and the Midlands. Normal working hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, and 8am to 1pm Friday. Flexible working hours are required along with some additional overtime to support customer demands and deadlines.
