Delivering daily from their vertically-integrated central bakery in order to scale this and ensure high quality product displays that optimise product availability with sensible levels of product wastage this new role has been created to build on systems that have been recently developed and are operational. The role: Key responsibilities include maintaining and evolving forecasting models, dashboards and online applications for sales, product mix, stock orders and job scheduling. Role spans advanced analytics, dashboard creation, data science and communication of commercial insights. Excellent opportunity to evolve existing skills in data science, data engineering and commercial insight. Work with specialist analytics consultancies to deliver and maintain next generation data science projects. You will need to have: Solid mathematical background and commercial thinker. Degree / Masters in quantitative field. Strong communicator and team player. Able to explain complex in a simple & concise way. Comfortable leading and managing workshops and insights sessions across all levels in our organisation. Self-starter with "can do" attitude and desire to learn new approaches and technologies. Experience with SQL database access and manipulation. Experience of applied forecasting algorithms, clustering, shopping basket, classification, etc. Competent in SQL, R and Python.
