Authorisations and Master Data Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of Europe’s leading manufacturing businesses as a Master Data Analyst, based in Runcorn. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager you will be responsible for working with existing systems, responding to user requirements and working on improvements. You will also support a small master data team responsible for configuration of organisational objects as well as control of customer/vendor/material data. Key Responsibilities:- Lead the harmonisation and cleansing master data as well as establishing processes/controls for the future Develop an authorisation strategy towards the new system including Fiori by identifying best practice, incorporating financial audit and segregation of duty requirements Support user population with authorisation requirements by maintaining accounts, build new/change existing roles Carry out activities as part of the master data team, for example configuration changes to organisational objects, control processes for creation/change of master data Act as the lead on internal SAP Projects for authorisations and master data Work to improve authorisations in line with external IT General Controls Audit as part of the annual Financial Audit process Manage SAP user population/licences Prepare for single ERP s/4HANA and agree authorisations and mater data approach Key skills required:- University degree or equivalent High level of experience in SAP authorisations area, ideally including S/4HANA and Fiori Strong understanding of key organisational objects/key master data and how they interact with the various functions within SAP Ability to work independently and also with colleagues Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Experience in S/4HANA would be desirable As well as a competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000, there are also additional excellent benefits including 26 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), Pension Scheme, Discretionary Business Bonus, Discounted employee paid Healthcare Scheme plus more.
