Overview

This is an outstanding career opportunity for a talented aspiring Bid Writer to join an experienced tenders management team with a market leader providing commercial landscaping services to both private and public sector businesses. This Bid Writing role is a crucial part of our head office based business development team, responsible for growing the business and expanding into new markets. The successful candidate will be provided with exposure to, and understanding of the whole Glendale business. This varied role will be part of a dynamic team submitting pre-qualification questionnaires, tender/retender? proposals and research projects across the full range of green services reporting to the Senior Tenders Manager. Your duties will include (but not limited to): Assisting in the management and writing of high-quality bid documents Planning bids as part of the team and ensuring that they meet agreed quality, timescales and compliance Preparing compelling written quality submissions, with? innovative responses that exceed client expectations Work closely with bid teams and subject matter experts across the Glendale business Support Tender Managers at all times Work to tight deadlines in a constructive and planned manner Maintaining the bid library and updating of information Gathering and developing information relating to specific tenders, relative projects and long term opportunities and obtaining and analysing results of tender submissions The successful candidate will be: Familiar with all tendering related activities and have experience of tender bid preparation? Articulate, with clarity in all written material A capable and confident communicator An excellent project planner with strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail Driven, with a desire to succeed under time-pressured situations Articulate with clarity in all written material with a high level of attention to detail A capable and confident communicator Excellent project planning, organisational and time management skills Candidates should ideally have previous experience of securing local authority or private sector contracts and be a confident user of MS Office and Google applications.
