Commercial Manager Sunderland, North East Contract or Permanent Position Available The Company We are working with one of the leading consultancies that provides transport and infrastructure in the UK. This business has an excellent reputation of delivering schemes across the UK and is well known for implementing new technology and innovation to their work in order to do this. The Scheme The business has been tasked to improve a major highway scheme in Sunderland - work will take a minimum of 2 years. The Role For this position we are looking for an individual with over 15 years of experience working on highways, motorways and road improvement schemes. Responsibilities: Providing accurate costs for schemes and liaising on these with our client Delivering work output to a high standard, on time and within budget Leading projects by setting objectives and priorities Effective communication of all information for the completion of projects and liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control Leading on the service delivery of cost management commissions from inception to completion Representing the company in a professional manner Building strong working relationships with clients through meeting, negotiations and correspondence.
