Cameron James Professional Recruitment are currently recruiting for a market leading business within the communications and digital print sector who are recruiting for a Financial Accountant. This position will involve some operational and leadership responsibilities and will require a wide range of technical knowledge and experience. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on broad significant responsibilities and develop themselves and their team in a fast-paced business with real momentum. ROLE SPECIFIC & TECHNICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Support and development of Assistant Accountant and Payroll staff with ultimate responsibility for their duties and close liaison with Accounts Payable, the total Finance department and in fact the wider business. Control and accounting for the company’s balance sheet Management of weekly site and consolidated cash flow forecasting, related liaison with FC & CFO and ability to take decisions based upon this Month-end journals Quarterly VAT returns Monthly Intrastat submissions Management of national statistics Cover for payroll Ad hoc reporting as required To provide support to less experienced team members Build and maintain good working relationships with all areas of the business The Ideal candidate will be ACCA, CIMA, ACA Qualified with strong financial accounting experience
