Overview
My client is currently seeking to employ a SIPP and SSAS Pensions Administrator in its UK division. The position is a full-time contract and offers a very competitive salary and range of benefits in a great company. A key part of their service involves the processing of Client applications, the investment of their pensions funds and assisting Clients and their Financial Advisers on a wide range of technical and day to day queries. The role is varied and will require a wide range of skills to undertake the day-to-day duties, ensuring Client and their international financial advisers are all serviced in a compliant, professional and efficient manner. It is an excellent role for a person with knowledge and experience in the pensions industry, financial services or banking with significant career potential within a substantial international group. Main purpose of the job As a member of the team you will be responsible for all aspects of administration for our SIPP and SSAS products including those holding commercial properties and will be dealing with surveyors, lenders and solicitors on a regular basis as well as financial advisers. There will be a heavy emphasis on processing SIPP retirement benefits so you must be able to calculate members pension benefits accurately with minimal supervision. You must be comfortable working with numbers and be able to look at the funding of proposed purchases as well as be able to reconcile rental receipts. You will be responsible for preparing quarterly VAT returns; this requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also set up new business cases. Main responsibilities of the role: As a member of the team, you will be expected to: Provide administration for our SIPP products including SIPPs holding portfolios of properties Provide administration for our SSAS product including setting up new and taking over existing SSAS schemes Responsible for all aspects of administration for our commercial properties held in our SIPPs and SSASs Deal with surveyors, lenders and solicitors on a regular basis. Responsible for all aspects of SIPP administration from new business to settling benefits.
