Weighbridge Operator Location: Lanark Sector: Waste Management/ Manufacturing · Do you have experience in a waste or recycling background and are looking for a new opportunity? · Do you want to work business hours with no evenings or weekends? · Do you want to work for a well-established company that can offer progression? · Do you have a valid driver’s license? Then this is the opportunity for you Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to come and join one of our exclusive clients based in the South Lanarkshire area. The role of a Weighbridge Operator is to operate the incoming and outgoing loads and ensuring all paperwork is accurate as well as recording relevant information on the internal system. This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm. Duties & Responsibilities: · Monitor incoming waste · Responsible for operation of weighbridge for internal movements · Checking paperwork and ensuring this is updated on the internal system · Complete weighbridge tickets for internal movements · Ensuring all vehicle movements are weighed and coded correctly · Dealing with booking forms · Completing the site diary daily and ensuring compliance is completed to high standard · Dealing with calls from customers in regards to waste transportation and site disposal · Ensuring boards are kept up to date without going loads and PO’s · Dealing with incident reports for drivers · Recording non-compliant loads · Completing a handover between shifts Skills & Experience: · Must come from a waste or recycling background · Must have experience in weighbridge operations · Do to location, must be able to drive · Must have knowledge of Health and Safety procedures in the work place · Strong communication skills · Excellent attention to detail skills · Proven track record in Microsoft Office Packages · Ability to work in a bust environment In return you will receive a competitive salary, 29 days annual leave and there is also free parking onsite.
