Overview

Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the local's leading employers to recruit for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. The duties of the role are varied, therefore we are seeking someone who has experience working in a fast-paced organisation, who is adaptable, organised, and task orientated and able to work to their own initiative. Main duties and responsibilities: ensuring the shop floor is run efficiently and effectively meeting all required targets to maximise utilisation of the warehouse space by reviewing best stock storage methodologies assisting with project related activities, supporting positive changes conducting one to one regular reviews with staff taking full responsibility for staff including annual leave, absence management etc. ensuring company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed expected standards ensuring all internal SLA's are achieved regarding put away, despatch etc. The ideal candidate: will have experience in a similar supervisory role will have ability to lead a team has to be able to work on two shifts rotating and work overtimes when needed in busy periods will have proven supervisory skills will have strong oral and written communication skills will have a basic knowledge of Word, Excel and warehouse systems will have a proven problem solver and decision maker skills The hours of work are based on two shifts rotating: 6am-2.30pm and 2.30pm- 10.30pm Monday to Friday Salary - up to £25,000 per annum If you feel that you have the skills to meet this position please submit your CV and covering letter or call on 01623 628843.
