Overview
2nd Line Support Engineer, Nottingham, £18 - £21 Per Hour Hourly rate: £18 to £21 2nd Line Support Engineer required for an initial 6-month contract located in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer that is looking for greater responsivities and exposure to enterprise level products. The 2nd Line Support Engineer will gain access to VMware infrastructure, ESX servers, enterprise applications, security, hardware, premium firewalls, DMZ and proxy environments as well as working with a cross functional team of 10. The 2nd Line Support Engineer will ideally have worked in varied role previously and be happy working in a generalist environment. As the 2nd Line Support Engineer you will have a solid Microsoft background and have demonstrable experience in the below areas. Technical Experience; - Migration experience - Microsoft SCCM for their deployments, patching, packaging and remediation - Exchange online and Office365 - VMware - Windows 7 & Windows 10 - Windows Server - Backup Exec, Checkpoint firewalls and VPN - Citrix This is a great time for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join the team, as there are several extremely interesting projects in the pipeline and the successful Support Engineer will have the opportunity to grow within a market leader.
