European Export Roadfreight Operator - VR/20756 The Company & Role: Our client, one of the worlds leading logistics companies, is looking for a European Roadfreight Operator to join their team based in Dartford. Ideal candidates will have 1 to 2 years experience of Roadfreight Export Operations within Europe. Customs knowledge would be an advantage. Duties include: Chasing previous week export trailers if all arrived on time to destination Asking Export customer for their forecast Organize collection via internal / external partners Administration and processing of shipment with accuracy Create transport documents (Consignent notes, CMR, ATR, BL, EUR1, etc.) Liaison with other departments such as customer service, bookings and warehouse as well as overseas offices, hauliers, drivers and clearance agents Receiving bookings from clients (internal and external) Dangerous goods compatibility checks Make crossing booking (ferry, Eurotunnel ) Make sure all collections arrive in Dartford timely manner Make sure all shipments barcode it Prepare drivers files Feedback to the customer (internal and external) by mail, phone, EDI Some warehouse handling Handling all tasks from start to finish and ensure all files completed and passed to accounts department for invoicing depending on experience.
