Overview
Vehicle Strip & Fit Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour Location: Scunthorpe Logic 360 is a leading recruiter in the automotive industry and currently has a great opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Trimmer (Strip & Fitter) for one of our major clients in Scunthorpe. Some tasks may be physically demanding although you will use lifting equipment to move heavy parts. You will be expected to wear safety clothing when using specialized equipment and carrying out certain tasks. Main Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for removing and replacing all mechanical, electrical and trim components Strip and refit interior and exterior components Ensure all electrical components are fully functional once re assembled Inspect finished vehicles to ensure no mechanical, electrical or trim defects Performing other duties as assigned Work to high standards always Skills Required: As a Vehicle Trimmer you will need to demonstrate: Previous experience as a vehicle trimmer, stripping and re-fitting Great eye for detail The ability to work alone and as part of a team The ability to maintain High quality Standards under pressure in a fast-paced environment An awareness of safety procedures Strong communication Full UK/EU Driving Licence Qualification and Experience You will need to have Vehicle Trimming experience and a good understanding of vehicle body repair techniques; ATA Accreditation would be an advantage.
