We are currently working with an organisation that delivers care and support services in dedicated schemes with care and support on-site and in the community. They are opening a small new scheme for adults with learning disabilities in Chelmsford and are looking for experienced and energetic Support Workers to join their new team. As a care and support worker you will provide care and support to customers. Within the role you will be providing support including settling customers into their home as well as creating holistic support plans to support with more complex requirements whist also managing risk. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where you can benefit from comprehensive in-house training to continue developing your skills. Providing boundaries and direction around positive behaviours. Promoting choice and independence. Supporting service users to live a life as full as possible and to engage with the community. Provide physical and emotional support, ensuring that respect, dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. Requirements: Experience of providing care and/or support to vulnerable people. Possess excellent people skills. Have a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities. Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority. Have great communication skills.
