Qualified Social Worker, Calderdale, £22PH

Reed Social Care are looking for experienced Qualified Social Workers who are interested in the Calderdale. You will be based in the Physical Disabilities Team which forms part of the All Age Disability Service and will report to the Team Manager. Duties will include: Ensure that individuals remain at the heart of their work and empower vulnerable adults to make choices and to maintain their own autonomy wherever possible and that the needs of family members, carers, groups and providers of care are understood and work with them towards ensuring that vulnerable adults receive the appropriate support (which is the least restrictive option) whilst recognising the need for intervention at times. Ensure that vulnerable and/or disadvantaged people are supported appropriately; they will make decisions that are in accordance with relevant policy guidance. Correct use of legislation aimed at maintaining the independence of vulnerable adults and assist them to maximise their own abilities and networks of support. Carry out assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and plan support to meet needs Applicants must have a qualification in Social Work to degree level or equivalent (e.g. BSc, BA, MA, CQSW, DipSW) and be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
