Overview
Reed Accountancy are in search of an accountant to join a manufacturing business in Smethwick on a temp to perm basis, starting immediately. Within this role you be expected to complete a wide variety of tasks to support the accounts function. The candidate in this role will play a pivotal part of the accounts team, supporting and assisting along with holding certain responsibilities. Accountant duties will include: Sales ledger Purchase ledger Job costing Credit control Reconciliations Trial Balance VAT Payroll & Wages Liaising with external Accountants Supplier Invoice validation Assist with audits Managing any aged debtors as well reporting Sage & Excel experience Parking is available on site/ Public transport links are local. 35 Hours per week 09.00-17.00 Monday - Friday Bookkeeper Assistantaccountant Accountant Accountancy
