Software Engineer (JavaScript) - Newcastle A Software Engineer is required by a popular and creative digital agency based in Newcastle to help design and build digital products for a wide variety of companies. They design and develop digital products with the user in mind and focus on creating incredible products with UX/UI at the forefront. The variety of their projects allows their developers to work using leading-edge technologies and work with clients who are top universities, BBC and government owned companies. Their products are used by millions of people across the UK. Key Skills: 2 years experience with either Angular, Vue or React (Desirable) 2 years experience with JavaScript Experience with iOS & Android mobile development (Not essential) A good understanding of unit-testing JavaScript applications You will be joining a growing team of 12 Developers who are always looking to use the best practices in programming and developing their own skills. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to make a big difference in a creative team and to be exposed to new emerging technologies within the industry. The company is always looking to improve their services and development. They are looking for developers to bring in new ideas and exposure to different technologies will be put to good use. The core skills required are above, however they are always working with the newest technologies. They want people who have self-taught themselves different technologies and who are really determined to progress their skills and progress within the company. Roles and responsibilities: Assisting the team with new developments and services Keeping up-to-date with industry tools, and newest technologies Working in a close-knit team of developers & collaborating with different ideas Providing quality feedback between your peers to share knowledge and know-how. They are not a typical digital agency as 85-90% revenue comes from retained business.
