You will be working as part of a highly skilled team, actively involved in supporting the design and development of innovative world-class products. This is a key role offering analytical support to machines and modules sector of the business which is primarily responsible for designing new products in line with company expectations and delivering to programme milestones. You will offer Expert and guidance to the mechanical design of printing machines and the associated modules Our client is an innovative international market leader; therefore, it is imperative that their Senior Mechanical Engineers are confident in embracing change and enjoy growing ideas. You will have the passion to effectively deliver projects and have the flexibility to adapt and overcome any potential issues. You will be committed to leading and delivering timely solutions, providing analytical support of designs through the product development life-cycle from a ‘blank sheet’ to completion into mainstream production. You will effectively communicate work, define and own the analytical and simulation support to multiple projects, managing processes, lead times and key milestones. About You The team is growing, and they are looking for experienced professionals, you may originate from an aerospace, oil and gas, rail, Special purpose machinery, robotics, mechatronics, high speed high accuracy electromechanical systems background. Training can be provided to develop you to be the best (there is a great team to support you) In return you will bring the following skills and experience to us: · Degree in a technical discipline, technical engineer, master craftsman (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or automation technology) or comparable specialist knowledge with long period of professional experience. · Understanding of the functional interdependencies of mechanical, electromechanical and mechatronic systems. · Ability to conduct statistically sound appraisals of data · Able to share own expertise, provide guidance, support and motivate other team members influential within own team · Able to identify and solve, from first principles, unusual/complex technical problems. · Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint · FEA - ANSYS-Module expert - Simulation know-how in the fields of statics, dynamics, flow theory and Validation of simulation results · Knowledge of the product creation processes · Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel. · Working knowledge of product development lifecycles. · Great communication skills and a team player. · An understanding of SMT solutions.
