At the same time, some of our regular staff are having to self-isolate. We can help each other MacIntyre is a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and autism and we have opportunities in your area. You’ll join one of our friendly teams, supporting people to keep up with their hobbies and interests, helping them stay engaged and cheerful. The people we support have differing needs: some are quite independent; others need more assistance, sometimes with personal care. You might find yourself supporting someone to cook their meals, or teaching someone all the steps involved in making a cup of tea. Or perhaps you’ll be dancing round the living room to someone’s favourite Abba songs Every day is different when you work at MacIntyre. You don’t need experience, we’ll teach you everything you need, and you’ll fit in just fine if you’re warm, friendly and willing to learn. Flexible contracts are available, and we will fast-track your recruitment checks (while remaining compliant with safer recruitment standards) so that you can start your temporary work with us as soon as possible.
