Supported Living Worker Level 2 CQC Tyneside Foyer, Newcastle NE1 £9.00 p/h Working Pattern Support staff are on site 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Shift patterns for Level 2 Support Workers.17:00 – 21:00 AND 21:00 – 09:00 plus Weekend and Bank holidays 09:00 – 17:00 Job Purpose: To ensure customers are provided with timely, high quality and reliable care and support in their chosen settings to directly deliver individual personal care to customers in line with their care plan, working alongside them to maximise their independence and social inclusion. Supporting and providing care to customers: You will support the client in a person-centred way to achieve the outcomes and aspirations stated in their support plans. This will involve supporting customers to undertake a range of tasks, which may vary from (but is not limited to): · Support customers with personal care as required which may include personal hygiene, bathing, moving or handling · Follow instructions from Support Coordinator carrying out tasks in a way that demonstrates respect for the privacy, dignity, and value of all customers · Deliver a personal service to customers which is responsive, reliable and high quality. · Implement and contribute to person-centred care and support plans and adhere to risk assessments in line with statutory plans also in place. · Adhere and contribute to effective communication plans which are in place for each client and adhered to. · Complete any actions identified through audits · To ensure client records meet the required standard · Compliance with policies and procedures i.e. money handling · Awareness of requirements under CQC notification Role Requirements Must have an DBS or a transferable one. Experience and understanding of working with all customers who are: experiencing homelessness and have complex issues. Have learning disabilities. Mental health needs, CQC personal care, Domestic abuse, older people , ex-offenders. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills The out of hours is predominantly Office based answering calls from our services when no manager is present for advice/guidance.
