Overview
PROMAN are currently recruiting for Assistant Gardener's for on-going work based in the Accrington area. Candidates MUST hold a valid driving licence as they will be required to drive company vehicles around the Accrington & Hyndburn area. Candidates will need to have knowledge and experience of using gardening machinery such as pedestrian mowers, ride-on mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers and bin removal. Any vocational certificates or qualifications in Horticulture or Gardening would be an advantage. Applicants should have an interest in gardening itself and be able to demonstrate being able to work as part of a team and on your own. Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check (at no cost to applicant) and D&A test. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm - 39 hours per week Rate of pay is £8.21 per hour which increases to £8.51 after the completion of 12 weeks.
