We are?currently recruiting?a Labourer/ Re Work Operative (Days)to work with our well-established client in the outskirts of Cardiff. If this sounds like the role for you, please submit your CV today Working in a busy manufacturing, Loading and unloading, re workng steel/rebar? Work in a safe manner and have a proactive approach to all Health & Safety and environmental issues. Burn scrap coils and rebar with oxy and propane following a strict process in accordance with S.O.P and R/A. Work with the reprocessing team Identify and resolve issues with bundles and rebar and restore them. To work on the conti production line, reworking coils and cutting them back to how they were in their prime. Complete general housekeeping. FULL TRAINING AND PPE PROVIDED. Experience required: -Manufacturing experience - Production, Operating Machinery, Labouring , Heavy Industry or steel a strong advantage -Experience of manual work In return you will receive an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation, positions are temporary/ long term ongoing Rate of Pay: £8.54 per hour Excellent basic salary, weekly pay, free on site parking, full training and PPE supplied. Day Shifts , Monday to Friday 6am-2pm Due to the nature of the roles and industry, all successful applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment screening. This includes successfully passing a DBS Criminal Records check and Drug and Alcohol testing before commencing employment.
