DevOps Engineer .NET Core Birmingham £31000 -£49000 Bonus & Benefits A reputable financial organisation based in Birmingham are seeking a talented and technology-enthused IT Operations Manager to join their organisation and play a pivotal role in delivering multiple projects. About the Role As Lead DevOps Engineer you will take both a technical lead on .Net frameworks and C# applications, as well as being the team's go to by providing mentoring and create a positive and collaborative working environment. The Details You'll be providing technical support including solution development, implementation and enablement of applications. By understanding and applying reusable code design you'll ensure our architecture, frameworks and applications are performing to meet our business-defined needs. Remaining future focused you will make our applications unique, accessible from different browsers and devices including mobile phone, and responsive user-friendly designs. Our Lead DevOps Engineer will understand that collaboration is key - you'll engage with analysts, the wider DevOps team and stakeholders across the business. Your mentorship will allow other engineers and developers to create their own innovative solutions, and benefit from your expertise and development opportunities you provide. About You/Requirements You're an experienced DevOps engineer with a solid work experience in the technologies listed below. You have a good understanding of cross-browser compatibility, and are aware of emergent design and architectural principles. .Net C# CI/CD piplines Continuous improvement and integration Build and Deploy tools such as Jenkins, Maven, OctopusDeploy Hands-on experience of Cloud application development and deployment using AWS and Azure Work within Serverless environments As well as being a technical expert, you will have a strong interest in sharing your interest and enthusiasm with technology, web design and user experience with more junior members of your team.
