Support Worker Location: Forfar. Salary: GBP £9 per hour. Contract: 16 hours, 24 hours and Relief contracts available. Do you love helping people? We are looking for individuals who love helping and supporting others, in a role where they can really make a difference daily. You will work directly with adults in their own houses and out in the community; supporting them to participate in activities and develop life skills such as communication, social skills, and independence. We are looking for individuals who are nurturing, resilient, enthusiastic, reflective, adaptable and have a genuine passion for the work we deliver within Sense Scotland. Say hello to the team The Forfar team supports four individuals living in their own flats within a purpose-built building. Each individual will need support with personal care, the administration of medication, assistance with planning activities and you being involved in all aspects of their lives. The focus is on person-centred care, to make each moment count. This role could be for you if • You know how to improve service quality for the benefit of users believing passionately in the rights of people with disabilities to live valued lives • You have a strong work ethic and are a team player • You have great communication skills and can deal with queries in a diplomatic and confidential manner • You can work a variety of shifts and don’t mind working hours being out with normal core hours • You have a willingness to learn and to get the most out of any training provided • Have a good knowledge of services Sense Scotland provide and hold strong values Closing date for applications is - Sunday 8th March 2020 Interviews will be held on Monday 16th March 2020 for successful applicants.
