Overview

Ergonomist/ Human Factors Engineer Location: DerbyRate: £500 - 550 per day (Depending on Experience) Start: AprilDuration: TBC - initially 3 days a week, with the opportunity for full time. My Client is in the market for an Ergonomist/ Human Factors Engineer to come on board and undertake Ergonomic Analysis on driver cabs and other areas of locomotives. They ideal Ergonomist/ Human Factors Engineer should have the following skills:A "can-do", pro-active, resourceful, problem solving attitude is essentialExcellent communication skills is essential.Excellent customer facing skills to resolve issues and manage stakeholdersExcellent report writing skills.The role requires close working with Mechanical design engineers therefore some familiarity with SolidWorks or equivalent would be useful.Knowledge of Railway Group Standards, Ergonomic best practice, HSE, Occupational HazardsSammie-CAD, JACK, Human CAD tool or equivalent experience.
