Overview
Collections Administrator - Asset Finance Berkshire £25k-£30k plus benefits Our client is a well-established provider of finance to SME businesses across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Collections Administrator to join their UK head office team based in Berkshire. You will be responsible for all aspects of collections activity to ensure that the business is supported and losses are minimised. Key responsibilities Daily contact with customers by phone, email and letter to negotiate payment of any overdue payments Proactive outbound calls to customers, in addition to effectively handling incoming calls and queries Negotiate payment proposals and refer to management for approval Accurate maintenance of internal systems, ensuring call notes are up to date and comprehensive Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations We are looking for candidates who have a strong collections background, ideally with some experience of the asset finance/leasing sector. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations as appropriate. A knowledge of the various types of liquidation/bankruptcies would an advantage.
