Legal Counsel - Surrey

An established global consultancy business are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their growing team. This role will be based in Reigate, however there is some flexibility to work from their central London office on occasion. Working closely with senior management and stakeholders across the business, this role represents a great opportunity to assist the team by ensuring client expectations are met in accordance with company policy. Key responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing and advising on a range of commercial contracts, with a particular focus on software licensing and technology agreements; Providing effective solutions and commercial advice regarding various contract negotiations; Liaising with both internal and external clients as well as external legal counsel where required; Establishing strong working relationships across various departments of the business; Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations applicable to company operations. Experience required: UK qualified lawyer with at least 2 years PQE (although all candidates will be considered on merit); Experience within a corporate financial services environment will be advantageous; A strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial concepts; Organised with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure; Proactive with the ability to show autonomy and take responsibility for own work; Effective verbal and written communication skills To find out more information, apply below or email your CV
