Electrical Technician

REED Engineering are currently supporting our client in their search for an Electrical Technician to join them on a permanent basis in East Sussex. The successful candidate should have a strong Electrical background with experience of working within a medical, chemical or hazardous materials environment. You will be responsible for maintaining electrical process equipment across the site, PPM, breakdown and repair. Other duties will include: Daily management and maintenance Fault find and troubleshooting on electrical, control and instrumentation equipment Ensuring all plant is maintained to a safe compliant condition Ensuring all Health, Safety and environmental regulations and conditions are adhered to Person Specification; Strong electrical maintenance background, specifically within process machinery Knowledge of wiring, fault find and electrical drawings Experience within a medical, chemical or hazardous material environment PAT and Test and Inspect to BS7671 Any experience working with Pump controls and system, as well as a working knowledge of Control Systems / PLCs would also be highly advantageous. Salary & Benefits A salary of £30-40k per annum depending on experience will be offered for this role.
