Sales Account Manager - Womenswear Leicester £30,000 - £35,000 DOE I am looking for a sales driven, ambitious individual for a new and exciting opportunity in the East Midlands. This successful, well established womenswear fashion supplier is looking to add to its team and requires an experienced Sales & Account Manager to drive new business within womenswear fast fashion. Existing contacts would be extremely advantageous. You will also inherit existing high street accounts, to manage and develop. You must be commercial and passionate, with the ability to drive a business forward, build strong relationships with Buying Personnel at all levels. Sales Account Manager – Womenswear - The Role: To proactively develop relationships and identify, target and develop new business opportunities. Existing live contacts within UK fashion retailers would be extremely interesting. You will also inherit some very exciting existing accounts with some of the biggest retailers on the UK high street. You will be developing and selling womenswear multi product apparel, predominately jersey and woven. To manage the critical path process and organise sales process from start to finish. To proactively identify/develop new opportunities with existing customer. Ensure effective communication at all levels, internally and externally, and continuously guarantee all information is provided to customers in a timely, accurate and appropriate way. Keep one step ahead of the competition by researching and comp shops to provide your clients with exciting product. To work directly with and report into the Managing Directors. Sales Account Manager – Womenswear - The Candidate: Successful candidate must be driven, ambitious and sales-focussed, as well as being commercially minded with excellent business acumen. Must also be personable and be able to build relationships. Must understand the dynamics of a wholesale/supplier business, ideally from a womenswear supply background. Knowledge or fast fashion, quick response supply would be highly beneficial. Must also have experience of working with large fashion retail customers – ideally with live contacts. Ability to identify and develop new opportunities with existing customers is crucial. Must be able to build relationships and give importance to people at all levels – from Buyers Assistant to Buying Director. An understanding and thorough knowledge of womenswear fashion is essential. Highly organised, with attention to detail with excellent communication skills (written & oral). Fully fluent in Microsoft Office, in particularly Microsoft Excel.
