Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £36000 - £42000 per annum

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Intellectual Property Lawyer to join a busy commercial practice in Leeds. Our client is looking to expand their team by adding a Solicitor to deal with a variety of contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property matters. You will be acting for a range of clients covering all IP issues from copyright infringement to non-disclosure agreements. This work is both national and international and they get a lot of referrals from international law firms to undertake UK based work. The work also spans a vast range of sectors from biotech and pharma work to acting for leading retail brands and most things in between. The team, although part of a wider commercial firm, tend to act as a standalone department and usually bring in a lot of their own high quality work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading team, so if you are a junior lawyer they will encourage all of the right traits to make you a leading lawyer one day, and if you are senior they will support you within a really collegiate environment that is 100% committed to IP work in Leeds. Candidates who are 1 years' PQE are likely to have the right level of knowledge/experience to undertake the role, however, this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this requirement but who have the relevant knowledge/experience. You will be working closely with a friendly team receiving excellent support both from the team and the wider practice.
