Job Specification Position: Level 4 (or close to achieving) Technical Support Role Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday Starting Salary: £35,000 Position Responsibilities To provide full technical support to two Chartered Advisers as follows: Completing Product and Fund Research using: SelectaPension Cash Flow Modelling FE Analytics Fund Research Synaptics Knowledge of the Aviva and Transact platforms - strengths/weaknesses in both Due Diligence of Product Providers Report writing Client and Product Provider contact The day to day management of the internal Task Monitoring system Technical Support will have Administrator support and the successful candidate will be responsible for the workflow of that Administrator Supporting CF10 with the Approved Fund List and Asset Allocation Attending quarterly Investment Committee meetings This is a non-advising role but it may suit an individual who would like to have Client contact, and for the right Candidate could lead to an Advising position Qualifications and Skills Qualified to Level 4 or close to achieving Prior Financial Services experience within an IFA environment is essential Experience with systems preferred: SelectaPension, Voyant, FE Analytics, Synaptics Experience in all/most? areas of Financial Services, particularly exposure to Pension/DC transfers, DB transfers and most Investments including EIS & VCT Attributes required Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills The confidence and ability to explain complex information to Clients’ and Providers by email & telephone Strong research and analytical skills The ability to work on own initiative is essential Ability to operate under pressure environments when needed Ability to prioritise work Ability to "take ownership" Client focused Building relationships Good time management skills Good customer service skills Good organisational skills Good level of numeracy and IT skills Compliance focussed Team work If you are looking for your employer to dedicate their time to your development, then please send your CV or call for a confidential chat Recommend a friend - if you recommend a friend or colleague to us and we are successful in securing them a new role, we will give you £250 of High Street vouchers of your choice as a thank you.
