Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. We are agents of commercial growth and have worked with over 250 companies, large and small including many well-known names/brands, to help them understand and improve their IT capability including programme management, architecture design, agile enablement, software engineering and AI. The role; Key role in the monthly management accounts process including Overall Continuous improvement of the process as a whole Complete P&L for 3 entities, ensuring the report balances to Sage Assemble balance sheet and cash flow (forecast and analysis). Balance Sheet Reconcile prepayments, accruals and fixed assets, post relevant journals. Balance intercompany accounts. Ensure reconciliations match Sage month end totals for balance sheet rec file. Analysis Analyse and split monthly indirect overhead costs by entity Reconcile monthly overhead costs with forecast Contractors accruals - reconcile expected monthly costs to actual invoices Payroll Advanced weekly reminder & chasing late entries. Analyse Weekly Timesheet information Complete Cost Sheets with prior week time (project time management/costing tool) Resolve any queries with relevant Team. Monthly meeting to close projects and discuss variances. Reconcile and post payroll journals. Cashflow Update rolling cashflow with prior week actual payments and receipts Update expected receipts from cost sheets information Update actual sales ledger expected receipt dates. Ensure enough coverage for supplier’s ledger actual received invoices Person; Previous experience in a similar role within a technology business (preferred but not essential). Experience working in a PE backed business. Have experience dealing with investors. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). ACCA/CIMA Qualified. Experience of management accounts.
