Piers Meadows Recruitment are looking for a locum Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist in Essex, As Soon As Possible Full time 37.5 hours speech and language therapist to work with the special needs and autism teams Cover for a pre school and school aged caseload of children in Essexwith autistic spectrum disorder in clinic, homes, pre schools and school, and complex needs in special schools Assessment as part of the multidisciplinary clinics with the consultant and clinical psychologist.for social communication disorders Intervention for pre school and school aged children with ASD and learning difficulties Experience of assessment and therapy interventions with children with ASD. Trained to administer the ADOS is desirable. Knowledge of interventions for children with ASD - Visual support, PECS, Attention autism, Hannen More Than Words and informal visual approaches.
