Client: A global investment bank European investment bank with over 19,000 members of stuff in over 50 countries Department Overview: The FX eTrading team is a global unit delivering services the international foreign exchange business across the largest bank in the Euro zone. The main function of the department is developing, supporting and releasing solutions powered by the worldwide foreign business. The systems are used globally with major server hubs in London, NY, Tokyo and Singapore. Key Responsibilities: Based in London the team reports immediately to the head of FX algo trading development and requires working closely with traders and quants among an exclusive team engineering the award winning suite of algorithmic trading strategies. Skills & Experience Required: Strong server-side Java development skills. Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming, low latency concepts, performance tuning, data structures and memory management. Problem solving Nice to have Linux Familiarity with FIX order flow.
