SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect

SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect required for a long term contract (OUTSIDE IR35) in central Oxford. We are looking for an experienced solution architect to join a thriving global organisation about to embark on a large transformation programme that is underpinned by SAP S4 HANA. They are looking for someone who can be the subject matter expert for the whole organisation on SAP S4 HANA. You will work closely with various third parties and a large number of internal customers to define the strategic direction, define the integrated solution and define the S4 HANA eco system. You will play the lead in role in ensuring the appropriate governance and controls are in place. To provide the lead role in the design of the Future Operating Model (FOM) within the chosen ERP footprint. - Designs and governs the overall SAP S4 HANA eco system. - Throughout the project/programme lifecycle, providing subject matter expertise, and guidance on best practices, with a strong strategic awareness within the SAP market and associated technologies. - Understanding business requirements, scoping, discovering and defining solutions, explaining business benefits and use cases and a roadmap to meet their goals - Creating innovative solution designs that utilise our extensive service offerings - Acting as the guardian of the solution, governing scope, solution agility and the integrity of the solution across work streams - Provide clear guidance and experience on leading practices and policies - To develop and maintain the Roadmap for ERP FOM. - To validate new business process changes proposed during the implementation. - Serve as a technical and application Subject Matter Expert for business processes that are supported by the ERP programme. - To co-ordinate & validate that cross-system business processes will function efficiently in the FOM. - To assist with resolution of gaps where the out of the box solution cannot be achieved. - Provide inputs into the programme plans for Programme level review - Provide feeds into ERP Programme Design and the wider program portfolio - Work with chosen vendors and or third parties on design of the replacement solutions. - Assist in ensuring overall Application and System solution is supported by a Service Architecture. - Work with the enterprise architecture group to ensure Design decisions and Architecture deliverables are handed over at each stage for BAU management. - Solution decisions to complex problems across the SAP landscape - Ability to work side by side with the chosen SI to ensure the best possible solution is defined at the highest possible quality while maintaining a view on the TCO.
