Poultry stockperson
Overview
Our client is currently seeking a Poultry Stockperson Duties will include but not be limited to: Ensure birds have access to fresh water and feed To observe all hygiene rules, this includes personal hygiene, hand washing, boot dipping/changing and the wearing of all protective clothing Maintain house hygiene, dusting, sweeping up, friable litter and clean boot dips To ensure that floor eggs are kept to a minimum by training birds to use the nest boxes. Maintain accurate record keeping - house temperature, mortality, egg collections. All other general Poultry Welfare Egg Grading Culling Successful candidates should have a background in a similar role, or with other livestock and not own, or be in direct contact with other birds. Hourly rate is £9.19 - £18.38. 6 days on, 2 days off shift pattern. This role covers various farms - therefore a driving license is essential.
