Overview

Are you a Management accountant looking for a part-time, permanent opportunity? Transparent is proud to support this particular client in this piece of recruitment. The main purpose of your role will be to provide financial expertise and support to senior managers, to include financial analysis and future forecasting. Key areas of the role: - Participate and contribute to business planning through the provision of financial advice and support - Supporting the Head of Finance and Chief Accountant in financial planning, reporting, performance monitoring as well as identifying efficiency savings - Providing financial experience in the management of investment funds, which will include the management of specialist operational accounts - Carry out complex cost exercises to ensure that financial control procedures are in place - Contribute to the development of financial management systems - Attending corporate meetings as and when required The Person: - Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or 'qualified by experience’ - Previous and current experience as a Management Accountant - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - Driven and energetic; someone who enjoys interacting with operational managers - Visible and approachable to all stakeholders when required - Commercially aware In return, our client offers a competitive base salary of between £43-46,000 on a pro rata basis. This role will be carried out over 15-18 hours per week (to suit the individual), from Monday to Wednesday. This would equate to approx. £19-21,000 p.a. In addition, the role comes with an excellent pension scheme, flexible working hours and free parking on site.
