Overview

QA Engineer QA Engineer required to join a Leading software house based at Vauxhall Bridge. The QA Engineer will join an exciting team, with both the business partners and technology teams, you will work to ensure high-quality application software meets clients needs. You will be required to Test web, desktop and mobile applications to ensure high quality and a great user experience. You will also be required to carry out the follow: Participate in release planning and sprint planning and provide test effort estimation. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders. Capture and track quality assurance metrics. Measure and report on the coverage and quality of the Platform. Provide insightful input. Qualifications & skills At least 3 years QA experience with a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work. Knowledge of Agile. Knowledge of test methodologies, tools and processes. Experience of Black Box testing, risk-based testing, system testing and regression testing. Experience of Atlassian suite of tools (Jira & Confluence). Data analysis and SQL skills (DML in SQL Server database). Experience of device testing for Web and Mobile applications. Experience in test automation, refactoring code, debugging, and testing frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to detail. Team player with excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communications skills. Strong sense of ownership and proven ability to adapt and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Salary: £40000-£45000 plus a 8-9% bonus
