SAP Super User

Immediate vacancy has arisen for an SAP Super User within the global CHQ of a FTSE 20, FMCG. The main scope of this role is to drive the deployment of the Global SAP Programme for the FinCo entities. The FinCo Super User has responsibility for the day to day activity undertaken by the site team to support the readiness of the business to receive the global template. There are various entities within the Finance CHQ operating using SAP, JD Edwards and Excel. Joining a team of Super Users and Deployment experts in this global programme, the purpose is to bring the business together using SAP ECC. Key Responsibilities : Ensure the site readiness activity is identified and reflected in the deployment plans and linked to the overall CHQ deployment plan. Readiness activity will need to link with the overall CHQ deployment and will include: Data Readiness Site Cutover Readiness - the plan for the site activity required during the period of transition from the current ways of working and systems to the global template processes and systems Change impact assessment together with subsequent change action plan to identify actions needed for transition from as-is to to-be operation at the site eg. Updates required for site procedures, work instructions, business continuity plans Through connection with the BAU finance team, provide business process understanding and knowledge related to the relevant functional area, to ensure the SAP team takes on board the key business requirements and risks which the solution must manage Essential/Desirable requirements : Project Management experience with a systems deployment Strong communication skills, dealing with senior stakeholders Previous experience of global ERP system deployments Qualified accountant (highly desirable) Understanding of CHQ Finance Processes Consumer goods experience (highly desirable) Location: Berkshire System Skills SAP ECC (desirable), JD Edwards & Excel.
